Seniman ternama dalam sejarah seni rupa banyak melukis dengan tema still life. Lukisan lukisan tersebut yang dibuat pada masa modern dengan objek visual yang diangkat adalah flora dan benda benda yang ada di masanya. Namun pada masa sekarang ini banyak anak muda yang belum menyadari bahwa objek visual yang ada di sekeliling juga dapat dijadikan karya seni lukis yang mengimajinasikan kembali barang-barang yang bisa ditemukan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari ke dalam kanvas dengan gaya dan tekniknya tersendiri. Tujuan studi ini untuk mengetahui dan mengeksplorasi konsep visual yang dibuat oleh sekelompok anak muda. Metode yang dipergunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan penciptaan karya seni lukis. Sample dalam studi ini adalah empat karya seni lukis yang dominan mengunakan teknik plakat dengan komposisi rata kiri dan tengah ditambah menampilkan pewarnaan yang kontras namun memiliki perbedaan teknik garis dan guratan kuas
